As the holidays approach and winter blankets our neighborhoods, the Driscoll Crisp Team is proud to host our Annual Toy & Coat Drive, partnering with Sharing Connections (Downers Grove) to bring warmth, joy and community spirit to families right here in the western suburbs.

Why This Matters

Many local families are facing extra stress this season—budget constraints, colder weather, and the challenge of giving children a special holiday moment. Sharing Connections’ mission reminds us of the importance of community: their vision is “Tonight, everyone eats at a table and sleeps in a bed.” 
By donating a new toy or winter coat (or both), you’re doing more than giving an item—you’re giving connection, dignity and hope.

What We’re Collecting

• New, unwrapped toys for children and teens (infants through high school)

• Winter coats, new or gently used (all sizes: youth to adult)

• Bonus items: new hats, scarves, gloves, and gift cards for families

How You Can Help

1. Drop-off your donation at the Driscoll Crisp Team collection point: Platinum Partners Realtors between November 10, 2025 and December 12, 2025.

2. Schedule a pickup – If you have multiple items and need some assistance, let us know and we’ll arrange a porch or curb pickup.

3. Spread the word – Share this post on your social media, tag friends, neighbors and coworkers. Community impact grows when we all act together.

4. Consider a gift card for teens, along with a coat—sometimes what feels small to us makes a big difference to a teen.

Donation Details

• Toys should be new and unwrapped.

• Coats should be clean, in very good condition, or new if possible.

• All donations will go directly to Sharing Connections, to be distributed to families in our community.

• Deadline for collection: December 12, 2025 (so we can deliver to the organization in time for holiday distribution).

About Sharing Connections

Sharing Connections is a nonprofit organization based in Downers Grove, and has been serving families in DuPage County and beyond since 1986. 
They bring together community members who donate furniture, household items, clothing—and they run programs like the annual toy program that serves thousands of children each year. 
By partnering with them, the Driscoll Crisp Team is helping ensure our shared community remains a place where everyone can feel supported and valued.
